Butterfly Ranunculus are a newer type of ranunculus known for their elegant, airy blooms and exceptionally long vase life.
Unlike traditional ranunculus, the Butterfly series features single to semi-double flowers with a shimmering, almost iridescent quality—thanks to a natural wax coating on the petals.
Each stem produces multiple blooms that flitter like butterflies above ferny foliage. These plants are beloved by floral designers for their ethereal charm and excellent vase life.
Blooming in early spring, they elevate your arrangment's color pallete adding a mix of soft pastels, warm apricots, vivid corals, and creamy whites.
Ranunculus are considered hardy in the South (zones 8-11) and can be planted directly in the ground (or container) in the fall. In colder climates (zones 4-7), they can be planted in the spring for early summer blooms. Though technically a perennial, they do best treated as an annual and replanted each year.
This product will ship in the fall when it's time to plant.
