These hand-painted, wax-covered amaryllis bulbs are part of a limited-edition holiday capsule inspired by the 12 Days of Christmas. There's a line of thought that each day represents birds (as described by this Forbes article). This series has fun with that thought.
 
Each bulb features an original, hand-painted design representing one day of the classic carol, making every piece truly one of a kind.
 
The bulbs are carefully wax-dipped, allowing them to bloom indoors with no water or soil required. Simply place in a bright room and rotate occasionally so the stem grows straight. Within a few weeks, dramatic amaryllis blooms emerge (and often re-bloom)—an effortless seasonal display.
 
After blooming indoors, the wax can be removed and the bulb planted outdoors, where it can re-bloom for years to come in suitable climates.
